The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Velmu blocks the leg kick.
Velmu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Peippo was covering up waiting for the punch and Velmu finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Velmu is working Peippo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
