Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between marcus marz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eurodancer. Jimmy Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like marcus marz has been cut.
marz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
marz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed marz's guard.

Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around marz's waist but marz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

marcus marz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Jones.
marz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
marz pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jones is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. marz can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
