The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Blend.
Dee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blend moves away.
Dee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dee throws a left and a right that both miss

and Blend counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dee is looking for a triangle but Blend pushes his legs off easily.

Dee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blend doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position.
