Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rex Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and josh campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
campbell slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

campbell clinches.

campbell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
campbell stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.
A clash of legs there as campbell blocks the low kick.

campbell shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
campbell wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
campbell goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brown manages to reverse the position and now he's in campbell's guard. Nice work there by Brown.

campbell had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. campbell Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.

campbell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well campbell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
