Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ben Jones enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Jones!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Harris's head back.
Harris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Harris ducks right into an uppercut from Jones.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ben Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones wants to clinch.
Jones swings widly with a right hand

and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.

Harris won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
Harris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ben Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Harris tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Harris looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.
Harris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Harris shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harriss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Harris counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.

Harris prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.

Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Harris is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
Jones scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Harris manages to mount him!
Jones wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away.
Harris tries to control but Jones wriggling away.

Jones is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Harris looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Harris throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Jones slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Jones wants to stand back up but Harris manages to pass into side control.

Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Harris asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Harris is working Jones over with some ground and pound from side control.

Harris looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jones is trying to buck Harris off.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Harris is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Jones manages to work his way to half guard, despite Harris's best efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Harris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Harris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jones is pushing Harris's head away, looking to escape. Harris manages to hold on to the position though.

Harris has hold of Jones's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jones seems comfortable defending it but Harris has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Harris couldn't care less - he's delighted!
