The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randle shoots in and bounces Ukupnik off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ukupnik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Randle avoids it really well and circles away.

Randle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ukupnik was covering up waiting for the punch and Randle finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ukupnik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Randle is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ukupnik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Randle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ukupnik is tightening it up a little... Randle has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Randle reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Randle taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ukupnik!
