Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Orbiso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mjhf Jhyg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurt Orbiso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mjhf Jhyg!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhyg shoots in for a double leg but Orbiso sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jhyg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jhyg fails to land the takedown.

Jhyg should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jhyg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Orbiso looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Orbiso shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jhyg eats them both and turns towards Orbiso to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Mjhf Jhyg has been cut.

Orbiso feints a jab promting Jhyg to slip. Orbiso then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jhyg slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jhyg throws a sloppy head kick and Orbiso moves out of range easily.

Orbiso throws a punch but it's blocked by Jhyg.

Jhyg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Orbiso circles away from the clinch attempt.
No joy there for Orbiso, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jhyg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jhyg shoots in for a takedown but Orbiso shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Orbiso lunges at Jhyg with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jhyg's hand.
Jhyg shoots for a double leg takedown but Orbiso sprawls well. He's pushed Jhyg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd cheers as Orbiso lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jhyg doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Orbiso stalks Jhyg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jhyg's face. Jhyg staggers backwards, shaken.

Orbiso lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jhyg backs up against the cage.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Orbiso goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
