Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Saenchainoy Pumpanmuang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elmer Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pumpanmuang keeps the fight on the outside.
Pumpanmuang scores with a head kick.
Pumpanmuang throws a head kick but Ray moves out of range.
Pumpanmuang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ray avoids the head kick by Pumpanmuang.
Pumpanmuang fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ray checks it well.
Pumpanmuang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pumpanmuang goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Pumpanmuang throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Pumpanmuang gets tackled into the cage by Ray. Ray maintains the clinch.
Pumpanmuang is looking to break free of the clinch but Ray has double underhooks.
Pumpanmuang tries to pull guard but Ray holds him up against the cage and eventually Pumpanmuang drops back down to his feet.
Ray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ray fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pumpanmuang to the ground. Ray is now in Pumpanmuang's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ray stands up from Pumpanmuang's guard - Ray perhaps looking for a knockout.
Ray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pumpanmuang.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ray cracks Pumpanmuang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ray clinches up against the cage.
Pumpanmuang tries to circle away but Ray has him pinned against the cage.
Pumpanmuang looking to slow down the pace here.
Ray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pumpanmuang tries a head kick but it misses.
Pumpanmuang throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Pumpanmuang throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ray.
Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pumpanmuang throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ray counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ray decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pumpanmuang, pushing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ray has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pumpanmuang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Pumpanmuang wants a takedown but no success here.
Ray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ray blocks a head kick by Pumpanmuang.
Ray misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pumpanmuang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pumpanmuang throws a head kick but Ray moves out of range.
Ray fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pumpanmuang to the ground. Ray is now in Pumpanmuang's guard.
Pumpanmuang is breathing heavily.
Ray passes into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ray connects with a nice short shot to Pumpanmuang's temple.
Ray content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Ray maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pumpanmuang could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ray has cracked it and Pumpanmuang is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ray!
