Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ewing might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to B.o.B. - Created A Monster. Raul Ewing has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raul Ewing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edgar Bronson!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ewing will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bronson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ewing controls the pace.

Bronson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ewing trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ewing is stalling in the full guard.
Bronson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ewing seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Raul Ewing just wasn't active enough.
Ewing throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ewing throws a front kick that sends Bronson stumbling back into the cage.
Bronson darts in trying to clinch
and Ewing counters with a good low kick that Bronson was not able to check.

Ewing has closed the distance and engaged Bronson in a clinch.

Bronson is trying to push Ewing away but Ewing has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ewing is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Ewing lands with a nice combination. Bronson backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Edgar Bronson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ewing throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bronson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ewing connects with a high kick.
Bronson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Ewing throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ewing buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ewing lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Bronson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Ewing lands a big head kick that sends Bronson tumbling to the mat! Ewing takes a step backwards and waves Bronson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bronson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ewing can pounce on him.

Ewing gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Ewing has hold of one of Bronson's legs. Bronson is fighting the takedown attempt but Ewing gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ewing slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ewing lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bronson throws a lazy head kick

and Ewing counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ewing is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ewing passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ewing stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ewing goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ewing looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bronson is looking to clinch but Ewing is avoiding it.
Bronson doesn't manage to clinch there - Ewing circles away.

Bronson wants to clinch.

Ewing darts in and clinches Bronson up against the cage.
Ewing effectively controlling the action here.
Ewing seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Ewing manages to break the clinch.

Ewing rushes Bronson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ewing is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bronson can do to turn this around?
The referee is keeping an eye on Ewing - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ewing lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bronson!

BOOM! Ewing connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ewing postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bronson looks a forlorn figure.

Ewing lands a big shot there that rocks Bronson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Ewing thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bronson if he has to take too many more of those.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ewing.
Bronson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ewing throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bronson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Bronson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ewing.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Ewing unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bronson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Ewing has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bronson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bronson is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Can Bronson hold on?! Ewing is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Ewing is landing with strikes from the back.
Ewing lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Ewing lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Bronson covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Bronson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ewing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bronson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ewing.

Can Bronson hold on?! Ewing is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Raul Ewing is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ewing is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Ewing is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ewing gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ewing gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ewing apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Ewing counters with a good low kick that Bronson was not able to check.
Edgar Bronson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
