The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kimura tries to clinch up.
kimura misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gunn.

Gunn feints and as kimura raises his hands in defense, Gunn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

kimura has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gunn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gunn won't allow kimura to sweep him here.
Gunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gunn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gunn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gunn drops back looking for a leg! kimura is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and kimura manages to kick Gunn off! Gunn jumps back into kimura's guard.

Gunn is posturing up here but kimura has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Gunn tries to roll out but it's too tight and Gunn has to tap! Slick submission there by kimura!
