The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cao is out of range.
Sharko misses with a head kick.
Cao connects with the punch.
Sharko takes a swing at Cao's ribcage but misses.

Sharko lands with a kick to the ribs.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sharko holds on and takes a little breather.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cao swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sharko is now in Cao's guard. A big mistake from Cao there, giving up the dominant position!
Sharko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Cao has his foot on Sharko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sharko works his way back into a safe position though.

I would just about give that final round to Elijah Cao.
