The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from McClane.
McClane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McClane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brown did well to prevent McClane getting side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
McClane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
