Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drake Aubrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aubrey comes to the cage accompanied by Over - Drake. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Drake Aubrey has been cut.
Danga de danga de dang - Grant scores with a four punch combination!
Grant swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aubrey counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Grant is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Grant throws a body kick that misses.
Aubrey rushes Grant and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aubrey throws a punch but it's blocked by Grant.

Aubrey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Aubrey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grant throws out the jab.
Aubrey connects with an inside leg kick.
Aubrey jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Aubrey clinches up with Grant and pushes him back against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Aubrey as the two fighters clinch.

Grant misses with the head strike.
Aubrey misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Aubrey tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Aubrey stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Grant is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Aubrey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Grant needs to keep his hands up - Aubrey had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Grant takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Grant looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Aubrey slips under a jab.
Aubrey tries to bum rush Grant with a series of wild strikes but Grant uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Aubrey checks a leg kick.
Grant throws a combination that misses
and Aubrey counters with a thumping low kick.
Aubrey with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Aubrey scores with a body shot.
Grant on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
No joy there for Aubrey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grant misses with a series of wild punches.
Aubrey lands a leg kick that knocks Grant off balance momentarily.

Grant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aubrey. Aubrey obviously looking to wear him down.

and Aubrey counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Aubrey jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Aubrey cracks Grant with a good jab.
Grant is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aubrey wants to clinch up but Grant keeps it at a distance.
Aubrey moves into range and connects with a jab.
Grant is still on wobbly legs! Can Aubrey finish him?

Grant gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Aubrey gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
