Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Who Dat by Young Jeezy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Styles quickly recovers to half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Styles is defending well.
Styles keeping hold of Jones's head, controlling as best he can.
Styles trying to control but Jones postures up.
Styles is trying to get back to full guard.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Styles moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones stops Styles from standing up.

Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Styles looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Styles looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Styles!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Styles in side control, throwing shots but Jones defends.
Styles cracks Jones with a big right hand but Jones just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Styles tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Jones manages to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones moves into full guard.
Styles trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Styles makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Styles manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Styles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Styles is controlling Jones's posture.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Styles is keeping the position.

Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.

Styles wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones tries to bum rush Styles with a series of wild strikes but Styles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Styles swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Styles lands a right hook to the body.
Styles ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Styles doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

Styles forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Styles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Styles walks into a straight right hand from Jones.
Styles throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Styles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Styles lands the left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Furious Styles dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jones slips under a jab.
Styles cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Styles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones tries to clinch there but Styles circles away.

Styles moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Jones goes down! Can Styles finish him!?

Jones is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Styles gets to his feet and stands over Jones, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Jones felt that one! Styles unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Jones from any more punishment!
