The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do scores with a shot to the body.
Do misses with a wild body shot.
Do avoids the head kick by Engle.
Do fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Engle misses with a head kick.
Engle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Engle punishes Do's body with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Engle lands a big head kick that sends Do tumbling to the mat! Engle takes a step backwards and waves Do back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jonny Do has been cut.
Do takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Do looks gassed!
Engle wants to clinch up but Do keeps it at a distance.

Engle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Engle lands a big head kick that sends Do tumbling to the mat! Engle takes a step backwards and waves Do back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Jonny Do's cut even more.
Do avoids the head kick by Engle.
Engle cracks the inside of Do's front leg.
Engle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Engle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Do's sensitive parts.
Joey Engle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Do takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Engle tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Do manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Do uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Engle.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Engle.
Engle jabs Do to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Engle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Do.

Engle instigates a clinch.

Engle manages to break the clinch.
Engle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Engle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Do moves away.
Engle lands a high kick!

Engle connects with a body shot that sends Do's belly button to the back.
Engle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Engle doesn't manage to clinch there - Do circles away.
Engle ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The cut above Jonny Do's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Engle throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Engle. That's going to slow Do down.

Do's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Engle lands a nice looking kick to the body. Do takes a step back to recover.
Engle lands with a shot to the body.
Engle throws a sloppy head kick and Do moves out of range easily.

Engle is looking to wear down Do with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Do throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Engle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
