Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Sayenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Raton Vaquero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Raton Vaquero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Sayenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, El Raton Vaquero!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaquero has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sayenko tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Vaquero tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sayenko just stands there and leans against the ropes.
A hook to the body from Sayenko.
Vaquero has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sayenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vaquero is trying to drag Sayenko to the mat but Sayenko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Viktor Sayenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of El Raton Vaquero.
A nice left hand lands by Sayenko.
Sayenko prevents the takedown attempt.
Vaquero is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sayenko pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Vaquero blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Vaquero jumps guard but Sayenko stands there with Vaquero around his waist. Vaquero gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sayenko.
Sayenko lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vaquero backwards.
Vaquero pulls guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sayenko is working Vaquero over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sayenko postures up in Vaquero's guard and throws a big left but Vaquero blocks it.
Sayenko forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vaquero looking for submissions off his back.
Vaquero blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sayenko.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sayenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vaquero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sayenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vaquero looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Vaquero keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sayenko wants to pass to mount but Vaquero is defending the position.
Sayenko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vaquero is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sayenko pulls his head out easily.
Sayenko thows a huge punch but Vaquero dodges it nicely.
Sayenko winds up and cracks Vaquero with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sayenko is nestled in close to Vaquero, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Vaquero is rocked!
Sayenko lands a big elbow - Vaquero is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sayenko!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Sayenko!
