Hickok's entrance music is Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Barnes's choice of entrance music: Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Tre Barnes has been cut.
Barnes throws a right hand that Hickok ducks under and follows up with a left that Hickok also avoids with ease.
Hickok misses with a few strikes there.
Barnes lands the left hand.
Barnes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hickok was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnes.
Hickok lands a head kick. Barnes smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Barnes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tre Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hickok tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hickok stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Barnes tries to work over Hickok's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Hickok gets caught flat footed, as Barnes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barnes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hickok has his hands on Barnes's head, controlling the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barnes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hickok looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tre Barnes dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Barnes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hickok.

Hickok tries to close the distance and clinch but Barnes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hickok throws a combination. Barnes tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Hickok needs to keep his hands up - Barnes had a free shot at his head there.

Bill Hickok's cut is getting worse.
Hickok lands an overhand right.
Hickok uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barnes.
Barnes tries a head kick but it misses.
Barnes motions for Hickok to come forward. Barnes throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A combination from Barnes does no damage.
Hickok misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Barnes or perhaps it was just good defense by Hickok which made him look bad.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barnes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hickok in his tracks.

Barnes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hickok sprawls well. Hickok wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barnes gets slowly back to his feet.

Hickok gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hickok tries to throw a body punch but Barnes avoids it by throwing Hickok back against the cage.
Barnes is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hickok makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That has opened up Tre Barnes's cut even more.
Hickok can't find room to land a body shot as Barnes controls the action.

Barnes wants a takedown but no success here.
Bill Hickok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Barnes.

Barnes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hickok takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circling - Hickok throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hickok lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Barnes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hickoks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hickok lands with a hook. Barnes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hickok moves away.

Hickok takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Hickok counters with a three punch combo that has Barnes backing up. Barnes nods at Hickok to acknowledge the strikes.
Barnes throws a series of punches but Hickok moves out of range.
Barnes throws a lazy right hand but Hickok sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Barnes moves out of range of the body kick from Hickok.
Barnes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hickok fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hickok walks into a straight right hand from Barnes.
Hickok will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Hickok will probably get the nod.

Hickok's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barnes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hickok scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barnes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hickok gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Barnes.

Tre Barnes's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Barnes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hickok looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Barnes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hickok swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hickok has momentary wrist control but Barnes slips an elbow through the middle.

Hickok regains half guard there - taking advantage of Barnes's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
