The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo dives in and grabs Jennings's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jennings pushes down on Aldo's head and hops out.

Jennings closes the distance and clinches.
Aldo takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Jose Aldo has been cut.
Jennings is struggling to control the position.

That has opened up Jose Aldo's cut even more.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Aldo just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jennings's brow.

The cut above Jose Aldo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jennings comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jennings stalls.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jennings for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Aldo manages to break the clinch.
Aldo takes a kick to the side of the head.

Jose Aldo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Jennings pushes Aldo up against the cage in a clinch.
Jennings creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Aldo's defenses.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jose Aldo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
