The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves blocks a head kick by Heisenberg.

Alves steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heisenberg.
Heisenberg is looking to land body kicks.
Heisenberg connects with a solid leg kick.
Heisenberg just misses with a punch to the body.
Heisenberg throws the kick towards the body but Alves avoids it.
Alves avoids the body shot from Heisenberg.
Alves shoots in looking for a takedown but Heisenberg manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Heisenberg swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looks like Hector Alves has been cut.

Alves is fighting to break Heisenberg's control of his arms but Heisenberg is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Heisenberg doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.

Heisenberg and Alves are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Heisenberg throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Alves into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Heisenberg knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
