Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Drapeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson has chosen Can't Tell Me Nothing as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drapeau misses with a few strikes there.

Drapeau closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Henderson quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daniel Drapeau.

Drapeau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henderson tries to avoid it but Drapeau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henderson to the ground. Henderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Drapeau shoots in but Henderson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Drapeau seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Henderson for as long as he can get away with.
Henderson wants to stand and escape but Drapeau is having none of it.

Henderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drapeau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drapeau seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
