The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from LaRusso.
LaRusso misses with a hook. Barr ducked under it nicely.
LaRusso avoids the head kick by Barr.
LaRusso defending well as Barr loads up on a big left hand.
Daniel LaRusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaRusso looks to land a left hand but Barr moved out of range nicely.
A jab from LaRusso misses.
Barr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
LaRusso looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Barr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Barr moves away from the strike by LaRusso.

Barr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LaRusso moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barr tries to bum rush LaRusso with a series of wild strikes but LaRusso uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Barr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
LaRusso fakes the leg kick and cracks Barr in the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barr needs to keep his hands up - LaRusso had a free shot at his head there.

Barr is rocked!
Barr switches off momentarily and LaRusso cracks him with a monster right hand! Barr topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as LaRusso dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by LaRusso!
