Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tye Domee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouse connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Domee's hands.
Mouse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Domee motions for Mouse to come forward. Domee throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Mouse shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Domee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Domee prevents Mouse from moving into mount.
Mouse throws an elbow but Domee slips to the side and avoids it well.
Mouse is looking to take a break and control but Domee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Domee wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mouse is putting a hurting on Domee here, landing some big shots from side control.

Mouse decides to stand back up. Mouse steps back and let's Domee get back to his feet.
Domee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mouse swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Domee tries to clinch but Mouse is having none of it.
Mouse swings for the body but Domee moves out of range.
Mouse misses with a hook.

Mouse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Domee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mouse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mouse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Domee.
A punch combination from Mouse misses.
Domee tries to close the distance and clinch but Mouse swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A jab from Mouse finds it's way through Domee's defenses.
Mouse shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mouse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mouse with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Domee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Mouse throws a strike but Domee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mouse has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Mouse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Domee trying to control but Mouse is working from the bottom.

Domee has gone for a leg lock! Mouse slips out almost immediately though and dives into Domee's guard.

Mouse lands a couple of digs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mouse is looking to take a break and control but Domee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Mouse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mouse looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Domee is avoiding damage well.
Mouse scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Domee to see if he's OK.
Domee is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Mouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Domee keeps working.
Mouse working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The ground and pound from Mouse seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Mouse has hold of Domee's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Domee tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mouse cranks the arm and Domee screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Domee, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mickey Mouse!
