Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaken Hgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barnes misses with a hook.
Hgar tries to clinch up but Barnes circles away and keeps his distance.
Hgar swings for the body but Barnes moves out of range.
Hgar slips a jab from Barnes.
Hgar cracks Barnes with a right hand to the side of the head.
Barnes avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barnes. Hgar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barnes throws out a loose jab but Hgar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Barnes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barnes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hgar swivels and escapes.
Barnes looks for a takedown but Hgar sprawls well.

Barnes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hgar takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Hgar takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Barnes is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Barnes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
