The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rivera takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jones stuns Rivera with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rivera is looking to clinch.
Nice shot lands for Jones.
It looks like Astrud Rivera has been cut.
Rivera walks into a left hand.
Jones lands a two punch combo.

Rivera is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rivera.

Jones pounces like a tiger and cracks Rivera with a vicious hook! Rivera is down but not out! Jones follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
