The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Matsuda has had enough of the clinch but Ruth keeps him there for the moment.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ruth creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ruth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ruth throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Matsuda stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Ruth and Matsuda goes tumbling to the canvas! Ruth follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Babe Ruth dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Matsuda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Matsuda is rocked!
Matsuda throws a head kick but Ruth moves out of range.
Oh Matsuda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ruth cracks Matsuda with a hook to the temple - Matsuda is on wobbly legs here! Ruth swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Matsuda falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ruth wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Babe Ruth!
