Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Dawson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bob there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dawson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dawson tries to keep at a distance but Bob has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dawson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bob keeps control of Dawson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Dawson tries to circle away but Bob has him pinned against the cage.

The referee calls for Bob to work.
Dawson is trying to drag Bob to the mat but Bob just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bob's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bob seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Billy Bob.
Dawson throws a series of strikes that have Bob backpedaling.

Dawson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.
Bob misses with an uppercut.
Dawson fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob throws an off balance right hand
and Dawson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bob takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Bob has managed to clinch.
Bob misses with the head strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dawson prevents it.
Bob prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bob will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dawson up against the cage.

Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dawson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dawson tries for a takedown but Bob manages to get underhooks.
Billy Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Dawson.

Dawson jumps guard but Bob stands there with Dawson around his waist. Dawson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dawson is pressed up against the cage. Bob has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dawson down to the mat. Dawson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Bob. Those never looked like landing.

Dawson tries for a takedown. No joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bob has clasped his hands together around Dawson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bob creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dawson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bob wants to control but Dawson is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bob is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Dawson's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dawson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bob misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bob sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Bob is landing with some decent strikes but Dawson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bob fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
