The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a punch to the head.
Kamara looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gracie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Frankie Kamara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kamara napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gracie trying to control the position but Kamara is working away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kamara can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kamara knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Kamara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Kamara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ground and pound from Gracie seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kamara tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kamara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kamara tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it.

Gracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kamara is trying to escape and Gracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kamara is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracie! Very nice indeed!
