Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mek Ju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ju tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dawkins was well out of range. Poor timing from Ju.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ju looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ju uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dawkins.
Ju looks to land a left hand but Dawkins moved out of range nicely.
Dawkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ju sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ju tries to sprawl but Dawkins drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ju really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dawkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dawkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ju doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ju manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ju throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Dawkins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ju looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dawkins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dawkins throws a looping overhand right but Ju ducks down to avoid it.
Ju will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ju is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dawkins.
Ju tries to land a front kick but Dawkins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dawkins shoots in for a double leg but Ju sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dawkins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ju scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dawkins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dawkins stands and salutes the crowd.
