Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Ungowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Requina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ungowa comes into the arena with Black No. 1 blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ungowa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Requina keeps the fight on the outside.

Requina fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ungowa, pushing him back against the cage.
Ungowa stops a takedown attempt from Requina.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Requina has eaten all the pies!

Ungowa gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Ungowa pushing down on Requina's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Ungowa passes the guard and advances to mount!

Ungowa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Requina is surviving well by controlling Ungowa's body position as best he can.
Ungowa working away from the top, dropping strikes.

It looks like Patrick Requina has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Requina can't escape the position.
The referee warns Requina that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ungowa landing punches.

Requina is rocked!
Ungowa putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Requina is still on wobbly legs! Can Ungowa finish him?

That has opened up Patrick Requina's cut even more.

Ungowa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Requina can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ungowa is breathing heavily.

BOOM! Ungowa connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Requina is trying to escape the mount.
Requina seems to have recovered his senses.
Ungowa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Requina looks a forlorn figure.
Requina sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Ungowa prevents Requina from standing back up.
Requina tries to get to full guard but Ungowa has control of the leg.
Ungowa wants to stand up but Requina manages to regain full guard.
Ungowa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ungowa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ungowa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Requina screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ungowa! Nice submission victory there!
