Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Pettis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown. Pettis tries to sprawl out of it but Fisher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pettis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pettis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pettis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pettis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pettis wants it to stay on the feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pettis enables Fisher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pettis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Pettis will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
