Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tikiz Tokiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maple Thug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikiz Tokiz is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thug moves to clinch but Tokiz breaks away

and Tokiz counters by moving into the clinch.
Thug throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tokiz blocks it with crossed arms.
Thug is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tokiz is defending well for now.

Thug breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tokiz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thug circles away.
Thug shoots in and drives through. Tokiz sprawls well.
Thug tries to clinch but Tokiz moves out of range.
Thug fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tokiz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tokiz shoots in for a takedown but Thug shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Thug has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tokiz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tokiz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Maple Thug hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tokiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thug's waist but Thug gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tokiz off to one side.

Tokiz scores with a one two! Thug had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Tokiz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thug on the ground.

Thug fails with the takedown.
Tokiz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thug tries to avoid it but Tokiz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thug to the ground. Thug escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thug with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tokiz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thug swivels and escapes.
Thug will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tokiz shoots in looking for a takedown. Thug tries to sprawl out of it but Tokiz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thug manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Maple Thug showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Tokiz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Thug has Tokiz pressed against the cage, preventing Tokiz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Thug lands a good knee to the midsection. Tokiz won't want to take too many of those.
Tokiz has Thug pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Thug manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Thug lands an elbow inside.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Thug wants the takedown. Tokiz is fighting it off but Thug persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tokiz's guard against the cage.
Maple Thug is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Thug is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tokiz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tokiz has escaped and now he's on top!
Tikiz Tokiz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Tokiz gets to his feet - Thug follows without any prompting.

Maple Thug comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thug has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
