Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Jurasik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis Wood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mariusz Jurasik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lewis Wood!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jurasik tries to clinch but Wood moves out of range.
Mariusz Jurasik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jurasik keeps the fight on the outside.
Jurasik scores with a nice strike.
Jurasik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jurasik throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wood's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jurasik connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wood scrambles back to his feet.
Jurasik connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jurasik misses with a series of wild punches.
A left and a right from Jurasik both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jurasik fails to land with a series of punches.
Wood tries to keep at a distance but Jurasik has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jurasik gets underhooks to prevent Wood's takedown attempt.
Jurasik presses Wood against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wood breaks from the clinch.
Jurasik moves into range and clinches up with Wood.
Wood misses with a knee strike.
Wood prevents Jurasik from breaking the clinch.
Jurasik is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jurasik manages to break the clinch.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jurasik sprawls well. Jurasik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wood gets slowly back to his feet.
Oooooh!!! Jurasik has knocked Wood down with a huge combo! Jurasik steps away and waves a wobbly Wood back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wood is rocked!
It looks like Lewis Wood has been cut.
Wood looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jurasik tries to clinch but Wood is having none of it.
Jurasik throws a nice looking combination but Wood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jurasik lands a left and a right that send Wood crashing to the mat, dazed. Jurasik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wood is still on wobbly legs! Can Jurasik finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Jurasik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jurasik lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wood up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jurasik from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wood's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mariusz Jurasik!
