The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Nascimento with that takedown attempt.
Nascimento tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Nascimento swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Capitao Nascimento will probably get the nod.
