Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Trester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matrix is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Power Station - We Fight For Love. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Trester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Matrix!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Trester gets a clinch.
Trester has Matrix pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Matrix manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Trester is looking to take this one to the mat.
Stalling in the clinch from Matrix.
Matrix goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Matrix just leaning against Trester, taking a breather.
Matrix continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by John Matrix.
Matrix swats away the attempt to clinch by Trester.
Trester tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Matrix paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trester takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trester closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Matrix out cold! Matrix corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ben Trester!
