The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Vuorinen counters with a nice kick to the body.
Miyamoto throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vuorinen throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Vuorinen scores with a body shot.
A low kick from Miyamoto misses
and Vuorinen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vuorinen lands a nice hook to Miyamoto's body. Miyamoto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miyamoto really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Vuorinen will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Miyamoto up against the cage.

Vuorinen tries to stall but Miyamoto uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Vuorinen gets through Miyamoto's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Vuorinen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Miyamoto backwards.
Vuorinen lands with a left to the head.

Vuorinen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Vuorinen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Miyamoto rather than just go for the knockout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vuorinen scores with a one two! Miyamoto had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Vuorinen counters with a series of strikes. Miyamoto will be more careful next time no doubt.


Miyamoto is rocked!
Vuorinen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Oh Miyamoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

After the fight, Jarkko Vuorinen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
