The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus tries to work over Nakamura's front leg with a kick but Nakamura checks it.
Maximus feints and then cracks Nakamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nakamura down.
Maximus swings for the body but Nakamura moves out of range.
Maximus throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Nakamura takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nakamura blocks a head kick by Maximus.
Maximus throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Nakamura throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maximus throws a series of punches but Nakamura avoids them all with ease.
Maximus tries to land a front kick but Nakamura steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Maximus connects with an inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maximus misses with the body kick
enabling Nakamura to counter with a crisp jab.
Nakamura dodges the punch combination from Maximus.

Maximus looks to land a left hand but Nakamura moved out of range nicely.

Maximus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nakamuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maximus drops Nakamura with a huge uppercut! Nakamura drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Maximus is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
