Mantiega has chosen Gimme Shelter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mantiega has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Gay Pride could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pedro Mantiega's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride connects with a solid leg kick.
Mantiega looks gassed!
Mantiega chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pride can pounce on him.
Pride dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mantiega. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pride misses with a head kick.
Pride lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pride works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pride turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mantiega takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pride looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pride buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Pride closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pride is working Mantiega over against the cage.
Pride putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Mantiega in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Pride pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pride ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mantiega moves away.
Pride lands a high kick!
Mantiega sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Pride knocks Mantiega to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Pride lands a huge shot from side control! Mantiega is out cold! This one is all over!
