Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorin Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odinson has chosen I will not bow (Breaking Benjamine) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Thorin Odinson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thorin Odinson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Odinson which made him look bad.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Odinson.
A head kick by Odinson misses
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Odinson, up you get!
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Odinson.
Odinson throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones darts in and clinches Odinson up against the cage.
Odinson tries to land knees in the clinch but Jones avoids the damage to the body.
Odinson misses with a knee to the head.
Jones has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Odinson is trying to keep an underhook but Jones manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones trying to control the action but Odinson is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Odinson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jones works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jones trying to control but Odinson is having none of it.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Odinson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
It looks like Thorin Odinson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones looking to ground and pound but Odinson is blocking nicely.
Jones cracks Odinson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Thorin Odinson's cut even more.
Odinson looks gassed!
Jones throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones thowing shots but they're missing.
Jones controlling his opponent.
Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The cut above Thorin Odinson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Odinson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jones locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Odinson is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Conan Jones!
