Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Person (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kill lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Person backs up against the cage.
Kill throws a sloppy head kick and Person moves out of range easily.
Kill looks to land a combination but Person avoids it well.

Person manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kill on his heels. He'll look to pass Kill's guard now, I'm sure.
Kill has a closed guard, preventing Person from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Person trying to control the position from guard on top but Kill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wesley Person.

Person looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kill!
Kill keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Person knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kill on the ground.

Kill avoids a series of strikes thrown by Person.
Kill wants to hold on but Person pushes him away.

Person tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kill is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Person get's back to his feet.

Bill Kill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kill misses with a wild combination.
Person shoots in for a double leg but Kill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kill slaps away a takedown attempt from Person, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Person fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kill avoids it really well and circles away.

Kill tries to bum rush Person with a series of wild strikes but Person uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Person shoots in for a takedown but Kill shows good takedown defense.

That's time! Person's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Person shoots in looking for a takedown but Kill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Person's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Person tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Person somewhat.

A lazy body kick from Kill
and Person counters with a body kick that stops Kill in his tracks momentarily.
Wesley Person is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kill is breathing heavily.
Person shoots in but Kill avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Person is defended easily by Kill.
Kill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kill dodges the punch combination from Person.
Kill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Person.

Person fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kill moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Wesley Person has been cut.

Person has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Person can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Person shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Person was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Person wants to stand but Kill is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Kill squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Person tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kill tries to lock up and control but Person gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Person takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Person get's back to his feet.

Person closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Person lands in his opponent's guard.

Person is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kill has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Person is looking to defend but Kill has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Person! Kill pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Person taps out and this one is all over!
