Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gerard Mousasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson scores with a jab. Mousasi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mousasi shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
A jab from Jackson misses.
Mousasi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jackson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mousasi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mousasi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gerard Mousasi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Jackson stuns Mousasi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jackson dips to his left and cracks Mousasi with an uppercut!
It looks like Gerard Mousasi has been cut.
Jackson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mousasi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mousasi content to control rather than advance.
Mousasi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mousasi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jackson for as long as he can get away with.

Mousasi tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.

Mousasi dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Mousasi's head and hops out.

Jackson digs a good hook to Mousasi's body.

Mousasi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerard Mousasi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Mousasi shoots in.
Mousasi needs to keep his hands up - Jackson had a free shot at his head there.
Mousasi is breathing heavily.

Mousasi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jackson finds it's way round the side to connect with Mousasi's head.
Mousasi is rocked!
Gerard Mousasi's cut is getting worse.
Mousasi drops his hands momentarily. Jackson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mousasi staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mousasi doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randy Jackson!
