Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dillon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Jardim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Get to the Choppa!. Helio Jardim has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dillon James's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots in for a takedown but Jardim shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jardim doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jardim manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

James escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jardim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's time! James's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jardim tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jardim to the ground. Jardim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jardim moves into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jardim takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
James tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jardim smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dillon James. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jardim tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard.

James has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jardim is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for James.
