The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Norton tries to free his leg and advance position but Luongo is retaining full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Lee Norton will probably get the nod.

Luongo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Norton manages to get himself to full guard.
Luongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Norton could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Luongo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Norton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Norton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Norton!
Luongo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
