The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tatum at a distance.
Tatum is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jackson cracks Tatum with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Bitchslap Tatum has been cut.
Jackson scores with a three punch combo!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooh a lovely combination from Jackson sends Tatum down but not out. Jackson dives into side control looking to finish.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jackson thuds his right hand into Tatum's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That has opened up Bitchslap Tatum's cut even more.
Tatum throws a head kick that misses.

Jackson drops Tatum with a big left hand and mounts him. Tatum is in big trouble!

The cut above Bitchslap Tatum's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jackson looking to control and managing it successfully.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Clint Jackson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Tatum takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bitchslap Tatum's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tatum eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bitchslap Tatum's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
