Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Estrella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estrella is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lita Ford - Black Widow. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Estrella.
Franklin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Estrella.
A nice combination there by Estrella.
Franklin punishes Estrella's body with a nice straight punch.
Franklin sizes up Estrella with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Estrella moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Estrella is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Franklin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Franklin misses with a wild body shot.
A jab lands there for Franklin.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Franklin is looking to clinch but Estrella is avoiding it.
Franklin throws a hook to the side of Estrella's head but Estrella sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Franklin throws the left hand but Estrella avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Franklin fails to land with a series of punches.
Estrella throws a right hand that Franklin ducks under and follows up with a left that Franklin also avoids with ease.
Franklin slips a jab and a cross from Estrella.
Estrella fails with an attempt to clinch.

Franklin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Franklin connects with a nice short shot to Estrella's temple.

Estrella is defending against the submission attempts here by Franklin.
Estrella pushes Franklin off but Franklin dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Franklin landing a few strikes.
Franklin is looking to take a break and control but Estrella is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Franklin looks up at the clock and then as Estrella takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Franklin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Estrella is rocked!
Franklin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Franklin is working to tighten is grip on Estrella's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Estrella has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Franklin is really squeezing tight and eventually Estrella passes out! Franklin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
