Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels comes into the arena with SHAWN MICHAELS entrance music -SEXY BOY blaring out of the sound system. Rhodes has chosen Losin it by Bury your Dead as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes avoids the head kick by Michaels.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rhodes forces Michaels back against the cage and clinches.

Rhodes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rhodes tries to clinch there but Michaels circles away.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rhodes forces Michaels back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Michaels can't break the clinch.
Michaels misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rhodes lands a body punch in the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Rhodes.

Rhodes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rhodes clobbers Michaels with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rhodes throws a right hand that Michaels ducks under and follows up with a left that Michaels also avoids with ease.
Rhodes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Michaels throws a head kick but Rhodes moves out of range.

Rhodes slips a jab and a cross from Michaels.

Rhodes moves into the clinch.
Michaels is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rhodes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Michaels breaks from the clinch.
Michaels looks to land a body kick but Rhodes moved away.
Nice takedown defense from Michaels. No joy for Rhodes on that attempt.
Michaels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rhodes instigates a clinch.
Rhodes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Michaels is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Michaels dodges an elbow strike from Rhodes.

Rhodes breaks from the clinch.
Michaels circles away from the clinch attempt.
Michaels lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rhodes circles away quickly and effectively.

and Rhodes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rhodes connects with a body shot that sends Michaels's belly button to the back.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rhodes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rhodes prevents Michaels from breaking the clinch.

Michaels swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Michaels fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rhodes lands an uppercut.

Rhodes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rhodes misses with the combination.
Rhodes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Michaels.
Shawn Michaels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rhodes lands with a straight right. Michaels didn't see that one coming.

Shawn Michaels's cut is getting worse.
Rhodes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Horrible takedown by Rhodes or perhaps it was just good defense by Michaels which made him look bad.
Michaels walks into a jab.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rhodes.
Rhodes connects with a crisp jab.

Shawn Michaels's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rhodes drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Michaels right on the button. Michaels goes down! Rhodes follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rhodes gets the win via TKO!
