The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Burroughs throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson throws out a loose jab but Burroughs uses good head movement to avoid it.

Anderson moves into the clinch.
Anderson blocking some punches.
Burroughs wants to break free but Anderson has control.
Anderson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Burroughss head.
Burroughs is working for takedown but Anderson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Burroughs tries to stall but Anderson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Burroughs can't find room to land a body shot as Anderson controls the action.
Anderson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Burroughs's elbow.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Anderson.
Burroughs lands an elbow that stopped Anderson in his tracks for a moment.

Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burroughs.

Anderson tries to throw a body punch but Burroughs avoids it by throwing Anderson back against the cage.

Burroughs goes for a takedown attempt but Anderson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Burroughs walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anderson cracks Burroughs with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Anderson instigates a clinch.
Burroughs content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Anderson misses with the head strike.
Anderson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Anderson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Burroughs can't find room to land a body shot as Anderson controls the action.

Anderson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Burroughs backwards.
Burroughs has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Burroughs prevents a body shot from Anderson.

Burroughs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anderson connects with the punch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Anderson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Burroughs throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Burroughs slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Anderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burroughs.
Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Burroughs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Donk. Anderson catches Burroughs right on the button with a cross.
Anderson lands a nice shot to the body.
Anderson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Burroughs has time to react.
Burroughs is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Burroughs defending well as Anderson loads up on a big left hand.
Burroughs seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Burroughs ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Anderson scores with the left hand. Burroughs knows he should have avoided that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Allan Anderson dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Anderson jabs Burroughs to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Burroughs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely.
Burroughs looks up at the clock. Bad move! Anderson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Burroughs. Anderson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
