Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jie Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jie Liu!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a head kick but Liu moves out of range.
Davis misses with a two punch combination.
Liu scoring well with a low kick there.
Davis takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Liu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Liu throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A jab from Liu does it's job there.
Davis walks into a stiff left hand from Liu.
Davis throws a left and a right that both miss

and Liu counters with a head kick that drops Davis - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Davis is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Liu trying to pass the guard but Davis defending well.
Liu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Liu works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liu scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Davis?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liu scoring with strikes but Davis is staying in there.
Liu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Davis looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liu working the ground and pound effectively.
Oh Davis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Liu has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.
Liu softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Davis is out cold! Liu jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
