Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, King George Iv!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. George Iv quickly recovers to half guard.

Hammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hammer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but George Iv does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hammer drops an elbow to the side of George Iv's head.

Hammer is working for a kimura but George Iv is defending it quite comfortably.

Hammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hammer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammer is looking to take a break and control but George Iv is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hammer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so George Iv is just riding it out for now. Hammer eventually gives up the hold.

Hammer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hammer works his way into full mount!

Hammer wants to control the pace but George Iv is squirming around nicely.

Hammer wants to finish this one by submission but George Iv is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hammer.
Hammer looking to control but George Iv is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hammer lands a big shot there that rocks George Iv but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hammer misses with a head shot.

Hammer wants to finish this one by submission but George Iv is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hammer.
Hammer wants to control the pace but George Iv is squirming around nicely.

Hammer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force George Iv to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so George Iv shrugs it off.

Hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but George Iv keeps working.
George Iv blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hammer.

Hammer is looking for a kimura but George Iv is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hammer to get the leverage.
Hammer is pressing down on George Iv's thigh, looking to free his foot. George Iv is holding on for now.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hammer in particular looking to stall.

Hammer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hammer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hammer looking to secure an arm triangle but George Iv defends it well.
Hammer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish George Iv?

George Iv is squirming around, avoiding Hammer's attempts to control the action.
Hammer takes George Iv's back.
George Iv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammer is looking for a choke. George Iv gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. George Iv manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

George Iv is sitting in close to Hammer's body. Hammer has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! George Iv is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, George Iv is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hammer.
