PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Blagenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirzai Navozov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blagenov comes to the cage accompanied by Kasta-Vorkug Shum. Mirzai Navozov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blagenov misses with a hook. Navozov ducked under it nicely.

Blagenov has managed to clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Blagenov as Navozov tries to tie him up.

Blagenov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Blagenov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blagenov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Blagenov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Navozov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blagenov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blagenov is pushing down on Navozov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Navozov is fighting to maintain full guard but Blagenov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Blagenov works his foot free and advances to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blagenov quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Blagenov but it's paid off an Navozov is forced to tap! Nice work by Blagenov.
