Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Anton Alexandrov!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McAllister shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Alexandrov gets full guard.
Alexandrov has his hands on McAllister's head, controlling the position.
Alexandrov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Alexandrov working for a triangle but McAllister defends it easily.
McAllister postures up and lands a big shot to Alexandrov's brow.
Alexandrov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McAllister stands up over Alexandrov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Alexandrov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McAllister!
Alexandrov trying to control but McAllister is having none of it.

Alexandrov goes for an armbar but McAllister turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from McAllister.
McAllister trying to control the position from guard on top but Alexandrov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McAllister is looking to work some ground and pound but Alexandrov has wrist control.
Alexandrov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alexandrov is on top in guard.
Alexandrov wants to pass the guard but McAllister is keeping the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alexandrov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McAllister manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alexandrov has McAllister in his guard.
McAllister postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Alexandrov pushes McAllister off and gets back to his feet.
McAllister shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alexandrov as he jumps to the side.
Alexandrov tries to clinch up.
Alexandrov closes this distance looking for a takedown but McAllister circles away.
Alexandrov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McAllister defends it nicely.

McAllister shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alexandrov gets full guard.
McAllister throws a strike but Alexandrov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Alexandrov trying to control but McAllister is working from the bottom.
Alexandrov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alexandrov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McAllister swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alexandrov is pushing down on McAllister's leg trying to pass to half guard. McAllister is fighting to maintain full guard but Alexandrov has managed to sneak the leg through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Anton Alexandrov will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


McAllister takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McAllister throws a sloppy body shot
and Alexandrov counters with a two punch combo.
McAllister misses with a takedown attempt
and Alexandrov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McAllister thinking.
McAllister has his takedown stuffed
and Alexandrov counters with a left to the body.
Alexandrov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Alexandrov looks for a takedown but McAllister sprawls well.
Alexandrov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McAllister is fending him off so far but Alexandrov persists. Nope, McAllister circles away and we're back to standing.

and McAllister counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
McAllister has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McAllister postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAllister keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Alexandrov's head.
Alexandrov looking to hit a scissor sweep but McAllister is one step ahead there.

Alexandrov trying to keep a closed guard but McAllister is proving a slippery customer.
McAllister throws a strike but Alexandrov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Alexandrov pushes down on McAllister's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Alexandrov is looking to take a break and control but McAllister is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Alexandrov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McAllister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alexandrov on the ground.

Alexandrov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McAllister sees it coming and defends easily.

Alexandrov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! McAllister could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alexandrov has cracked it and McAllister is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alexandrov!
